Investor Pitch Decks
Structure the market opportunity, business model, traction, team, financial case and investment requirement.
Business Communication & Presentation Advisory
Astute helps organisations develop investor decks, board presentations, tender presentations, strategy reviews and other important business presentations. We work on the storyline, information hierarchy, charts, slide structure and visual presentation so the audience can understand the case, the evidence and the decision being requested.
Not sure whether you need a full presentation developed, an existing deck redesigned, or stronger underlying business analysis first? Use the Astute Business Adviser on this page and explain the meeting, audience and outcome.
More than slide formatting
A polished deck can still fail if the message is unclear, the evidence is poorly ordered or the audience cannot see what decision is being requested. Astute therefore starts with the business story, audience, objective and evidence before refining the visual presentation.
The result should be easier to follow, easier to present and more useful to the people who must make a decision.
What Presentation Support Do You Actually Need?
Some clients mainly need visual improvement. Others need the storyline, business case and slide content rebuilt before design begins.
Use the calculator to tell us what the presentation needs to do, how much content already exists, the visual complexity and any additional support required. You will see an indicative fee before speaking to us.
What we support
Structure the market opportunity, business model, traction, team, financial case and investment requirement.
Turn performance, risk, strategy and management information into a concise executive decision pack.
Support bidder presentations, clarification meetings and proposal defence with a clear buyer-focused narrative.
Present objectives, performance trends, priorities, implementation status and management actions coherently.
Translate a detailed business plan into a shorter presentation suited to lenders, investors or management.
Present the organisation, services, credentials, experience and value proposition in a more professional format.
Where presentations go wrong
Slides become documents because everything is included instead of deciding what the audience actually needs to see.
Facts are correct, but the sequence does not build toward a conclusion, recommendation or decision.
Important figures, assumptions and risks compete visually with minor details.
The deck looks professional at first glance but does not reflect the organisation, purpose or audience.
Data is difficult to compare because charts, labels, units and assumptions are not controlled consistently.
The audience reaches the final slide without a clear understanding of what management wants them to approve, fund or do.
Our working principle
We use restrained visual hierarchy, consistent typography, purposeful charts and clear sectioning so the audience can concentrate on the argument, evidence and decision.
Investor, board, buyer and client presentations require different emphasis and levels of detail.
The sequence should move naturally from context and evidence to recommendation, ask or decision.
Charts, tables, diagrams and callouts should simplify important information rather than decorate the page.
Figures, credentials and performance statements should be accurate, supportable and consistent with source documents.
What Makes the Presentation Credible
Presentation quality depends on both design and content discipline. A visually strong slide should still be accurate, consistent with the underlying information and appropriate for the intended audience.
An investor, board member, tender evaluator and client may need different levels of detail, evidence and decision framing.
Where possible, the deck should be built from the latest approved documents, data and business information rather than disconnected slide fragments.
Units, time periods, labels, assumptions and chart logic should not change from slide to slide without explanation.
Astute can structure and improve the deck, but management remains responsible for approving the factual claims, commitments and figures presented in its name.
A practical development process
Confirm the audience, decision, presentation setting, timing and required outcome.
Examine the existing content, source documents, data, branding and supporting evidence.
Build the storyline, section sequence and slide-level information hierarchy.
Develop the visual system, charts, tables, diagrams and presentation layout.
Review for consistency, accuracy, readability, narrative flow and decision clarity.
Finalise the presentation for the intended meeting, pitch, tender or executive discussion.
What the engagement can include
The scope depends on how much source material already exists and whether the requirement is primarily visual improvement or deeper business-communication support.

Frequently asked questions
These are the practical questions that usually affect scope, cost, content responsibility, revisions and the level of presentation-development support required.
Yes. The scope can range from visual redesign and consistency correction to deeper restructuring of the storyline and slide content.

The fee depends on presentation type, slide count, content readiness, storyline development, charts and diagrams, financial content, animation, branding, revisions and deadline. Use the calculator on this page for an indicative estimate. The final professional fee is confirmed after the actual requirement and source material are reviewed.
Yes. Where the content and storyline are already approved, the engagement can focus mainly on visual hierarchy, layout, consistency, charts, tables and brand alignment. We will identify any obvious issues that could affect clarity, but major content development can remain outside scope if that is what the client wants.
Where content development is included in scope, Astute can help build the storyline and draft slide content from source information supplied or approved by the client. The exact split between client-provided content, editing and full content development should be agreed before work begins.
The number and type of revision rounds should be confirmed in the agreed scope. Revisions caused by new source information, a major change in direction or additional slides may need to be treated separately from normal refinement of the agreed deck.
Yes, where the source data is provided and the required analysis is within the agreed scope. If the financial model itself needs to be built or corrected, Financial Modelling may need to be scoped separately.
No. The final decision belongs to the audience and depends on the underlying business case, evidence, competition and other factors outside the designer's control. Astute's role is to make the presentation clearer, more coherent and more professionally structured.
